Manchester Tank and Equipment Company, the leading manufacturer of pressure vessels for the containment of propane, compressed air, and chemicals in the United States, Canada, and Australia, has an immediate opening for a Sales Director.

Qualifications for the position include:

• Possess a Bachelors degree or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and follow up skills.
• Travel required – up to 50%.
• Experience in demonstrating strong leadership skills with a multi-location sales team.
• Experience in pricing, successful sales margins, promoting, and selling a multi-product 
   line.
• Requires a self-starter that is detail oriented.
• Experience in developing new markets and working with distributors.
• The ability to problem solve on a daily basis.
• Must be a strategic thinker in regards to products and current markets.
• Possess a strong leadership and motivational management style.
• Success in managing and leading a national sales force to grow new territories in the U.S.
• Background in low pressure vessel industry with the following products is a plus: propane,
  compressed air, chemical/refrigerant, or fire suppressant.

• Responsible for all facets of market research to support the strategic plans for the
  divisions.

Sales Manager

 Job Description:

This position leads a team of sales, account management and customer support personnel.  Responsibilities include the generation of $ 30+M annual sales and the development of an exceptional team to achieve the overall strategic vision of the organization.  As a member of the senior management team, this position is responsible for contributing to the organization’s double bottom line which is both financial and program focused.  This position is responsible for ensuring the division is operated in a manner which balances TROCOR’s three spheres of influence include business, social and government.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Account management and customer support.
  2. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan to achieve revenue goals of $ 30+ million annually.
  3. Secure new business opportunities.
  4. Lead account management and customer support team.
  5. Accountable for exceptional levels of customer service.
  6. Team management.
  7. Lead and provide professional development for a statewide team including account management, customer support and sales staff.
  8. Embrace the business unit team model and use the teams to direct and manage all products and customer decisions to ensure the organization’s financial health.
 
Education and Experience:
  1. BS/BA degree, MBA preferred, minimum 5 years experience sales management required.
  2. Successful candidate will have experience selling in government and private markets.
 
 
Qualities:
  1. Must demonstrate both an understanding of and commitment to our social entrepreneurship model and how to balance a double bottom line.
  2. Performance-driven individual with strong leadership qualities.
  3. Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills.
